Saw on you tube were taking out the Allen head screw and spring and pin out on the cylinder pawl can make the cylinder free spin when the loading gate is open, the screw is in the opening for the hammer down low left of the transfer bar. Wondering if anyone has done this or if it is a bad idea. Or need to slow down when loading and unloading..

It should go over the firing pin as shown in the first photo. Now pull the base pin all the way forward and point the gun at the ground and slowly cock it.
